The Vision

In 2016, Junaid Syed along with a team of like-minded professionals embarked on a journey to transform the way businesses use data-driven decision-making and business intelligence in sales and marketing.
Together they founded Spokesly with the mission to help professionals and businesses of all sizes leverage the power of B2B data to unlock new areas of growth.

In realising our vision, we recognized the critical need for accurate contact, firmographic and technographic data of people and businesses globally across all industries.

We ran into constraints that would limit our ability to collect and transform raw data into unparalleled quality of B2B intelligence. This fuelled our commitment to finding newer, more innovative approaches to expand our data infrastructure.

Setting Up a Global Team

We rolled out our branding and marketing efforts and leveraged valuable feedback from new customers to create a strong foundational offering.

Within the first ten months of our go-to-market stage, we landed positive responses and partnerships with Fortune 500 clients like Samsung and Verizon. We established our first global teams including a team in India, which grew from a 4-member team to 100-members strong by the end of the year.

Through a constant feedback loop, our teams gathered a wealth of customer feedback about challenges encountered while searching B2B data lists online which failed to satisfy their unique user requirements.

ReachStream was conceived as solution to this problem and emerged as a one-stop, streamlined, custom list-building platform, empowering individuals and businesses with access to high-quality B2B intelligence at their fingertips.

The launch of ReachStream solidified our commitment to delivering customized B2B solutions and giving businesses complete control and transparency.

We faced multiple setbacks. ReachStream’s ability to anticipate and solve the problems faced by users fell short due to technological constraints and insufficient data infrastructure.

We saw this as an opportunity for even more innovation. In addition to the immense user feedback, we used the feedback and expertise of our internal teams to come back strong with a new plan for ReachStream.

A key lesson learnt from this setback was to streamline and strengthen our approach to raw data management using a schematic approach. This would enable us to address increasing data demand for ReachStream and future projects.

That’s why we introduced CoreCrate, a backend data management system engineered to expand our infrastructure and provide powerful SaaS solutions to our users.
